Our story
Urmanczy Events was born from a personal story: a love for the Urmánczy castle in Toplița, a historical monument that was returned to my family, although sadly, in a rather degraded state.
The idea of starting an event planning and tent rental business emerged naturally, as a way to help support and maintain this fairytale-like place. Currently, the castle is under the care of the Positive Transylvania Association, which I founded, and it is undergoing a restoration project funded by European grants. In 2026, the Urmánczy castle will reopen, restored to its former splendor.
Until then, we are dedicated to creating unique experiences for outdoor events, hosted under African tents, in extraordinary locations throughout Transylvania.
