Do you want to rent a tent for your wedding, but still have doubts?

I often meet newlyweds or brides who have already booked the event hall for their wedding. I've often heard: "We would have preferred a wedding in a tent, but we didn't dare to do it because we feared bad weather." Or like this: "I love nature, and I also wanted an outdoor wedding. We wanted to rent the African tent from you, but we didn't want to limit the guest list." Or: "I've photographed a hundred weddings; I didn't want my wedding to be like all the others. The parents didn't agree." In such situations, I always say that it's not too late; you can still organize the baptism outdoors. Or opt for an outdoor ceremony or organize an afterparty in the garden. All these doubts have a real basis, there are real dangers that cannot be taken lightly. With attention to detail, however, the risks can be minimized. Make sure to have a backup plan!
I. We don't consider renting a tent because we can't control the weather
There is no optimal date when the sun shines guaranteed. Brides never rejoice in rain, whether the wedding is outdoors or indoors, in a ballroom. Although it is said to bring luck! Of course, I'm joking, but if you want to rent a tent for an outdoor wedding, the impact of unfavorable weather will be accentuated. What can be done? Ideally, have a hall near the tent, which you can at least partially use in case of extreme weather. You don't have to fear summer rain; it will not affect the event at all. Look for a location protected from the wind. Never skimp on the quality of the tent. Choose one that withstands wind. Quality stretch tents, if properly installed, are guaranteed to withstand wind gusts of 80 km/h. The tent fabric should be 100% waterproof. This should be a basic criterion, but unfortunately, in the rental market, there are African tents and fair tents that do not withstand heavier rain.
Many also fear the heat. The comfort of the tent, the indoor climate, again depend on the quality of the fabric. If the tent heats up easily, it is better to schedule the wedding for early summer or autumn when it is unlikely to be hot, or you can also use air conditioning. But if you choose from our tents, you don't have to fear the heat; we have already tried them, there is pleasant coolness at events. The fabric of our stretch tents has received a UV protection layer, so it protects well against the sun's rays. There is deep shade under the stretch tent, similar to the shade of old walnut trees. Guaranteed, you won't feel the plastic smell of cheap tents.
II. We give up on a tent wedding, our parents are against it
We are giving up on the outdoor wedding because our parents want to avoid any complications associated with outdoor weddings. They would like everything to proceed as usual, without surprises and various comments.
Indeed, older people do not like changes, novelties, often preferring the easier path. But let's not have any illusions, there will always be comments and surprises. I'm not advising you to disregard your parents' opinion. Your wedding is not just your celebration. I just suggest trying to explain to them that the tent is just a framework for the wedding, but what happens there depends entirely on you. Furthermore, it depends much more on you than in the case of weddings in ballrooms, where there are many restrictions. And, besides, a tent wedding is very traditional: in the past, it was often the only possible place to organize a large capacity event.
III. We can't organize the wedding outdoors, we have too many guests
Exactly in the case of tent weddings, the number of guests can be infinite. Of course, logistical organization for serving the guests is a challenging task. Many questions arise. Where will the cars park? Are there enough toilets? Who will be able to serve all the guests on time from the catering company? But these problems can be solved. There are cities where weddings with hundreds of people can be organized only with the help of event tents. There are also cases where stretch tents or classic ones with aluminum poles have been successfully used to supplement the reception capacity of the available restaurant or cultural center. However, I do not recommend very large weddings; the personal character is easily lost, and you might not feel comfortable.
What would be the conclusion? The situation of each young couple is individual. The advantages and disadvantages need to be weighed. If you have decided to rent tents, do not hesitate to contact us.
